“Tracking Coyotes!”
On Saturday, November 8, at 10 a.m., the
Seldom seen and often misunderstood, coyotes are fascinating animals! Come learn from Environmental Educators, Carl Heitmuller and Michele Diamanti, what a coyote footprint looks like and how they communicate with each other. Compare coyote, dog and fox tracks and make a plaster coyote track to take home. After the presentation, weather permitting; join in a 1-mile hike led by an educator to search for signs of coyotes. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the world of coyotes! Pre-registration requested. This program is recommended for adults and children ages 5 and up. Cost: $5 per person.
