ALBANY THE PERFECT HOME BASE FOR 9th ANNUAL HUDSON RIVER VALLEY RAMBLE
ALBANY, N.Y. — Albany is the perfect home base for the 9th Annual Hudson River Ramble during three weekends in September — September 13-14, September 20-21 and September 27-28.
“With special tours, the Civil War Heritage Day at Albany Rural Cemetery and Half Moon docked here, Albany is the perfect place to enjoy the Ramble,” said Michele Vennard, President and CEO of the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
People of Courage: Albany’s Underground Railroad Story will be presented at 1 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center.
The Half Moon will have dockside tour for the public on Sept 20 and 21 and again on Sept. 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Hudson River Ramble has a total of 202 events that will take place from the Capital-Saratoga Region to New York City. The Ramble is sponsored annually by the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area, Hudson River Valley Greenway and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Estuary Program.
