I LOVE NEW YORK

Cache In This Winter

November 21, 2007 11:53 pm | Chautauqua-Allegheny, Winter, family, places to stay

Cache InThe absence of leaves makes the winter a great time to go geocaching in the Allegheny foothills in southwestern New York State. Geocaching is a treasure hunting game where GPS users find hidden caches. The Gallets House Bed & Breakfast in Allegheny offers weekend geocaching packages that are great fun for families or groups of six or more.

There are more than 325 caches within 25 miles of the inn, a restored 1896 Victorian home near Olean, Ellicottville and St. Bonaventure University.
