Kingston, N.Y. - The scent of warm honey will fill the air at Senate House State Historic Site on Sunday August 19. Join staff from 2pm-4pm to learn the time - honored tradition of dipping beeswax candles. Beeswax has been used to make candles for centuries. It produces a slow-burning candle with a warm glow. The technique is easy and fun for all ages. This workshop is free and open to the public. All are invited to attend. Senate House State Historic Site is located in uptown Kingston between Fair St. and Clinton Ave. with parking off of Clinton Ave.
