SPECTACULAR FALL FOLIAGE EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND ACROSS MUCH OF NEW YORK STATE

One of New York State’s best fall foliage seasons in recent years continues this weekend, as peak colors exit most parts of the Adirondacks and Catskills and make their way to points south and west. This weekend, you’ll find bright and beautiful peak or near peak colors in just about every region of the state, according to observers for Empire State Development’s I LOVE NEW YORK program. ROCHESTER, N.Y. — George Eastman House International Museum of Photography & Film presents a series of three photography exhibitions titled “TRAINS!” Oct. 11 to Jan. 25, 2009. Headlining the exhibitions, which spans three centuries of train photography, will be the best work of master O. Winston Link, complemented by train images from the Eastman House collections and a contemporary video installation by British artist Andrew Cross. Read more »
