Event to Coincide with Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, March 15-28
Hyde Park, N.Y. — “Bon Appetit: Food and Dining in the Hudson Valley,” a conference organized by the Great Estates Consortium, will be held on Saturday, March 20 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Henry A. Wallace Center at the Roosevelt Library and Home here.
“Bon Appetit,” which celebrates the rich history of food in the Hudson Valley, has been planned to coincide with Hudson Valley Restaurant Week 2010. This fourth annual event will take place between March 15-28, and will showcase this scenic New York State region as a premier culinary destination. Gloversville, N.Y. - The Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Art Gallery, located at 2 North Main Street, Gloversville, is hosting a “Celebration of 30 Years of Women’s History Month,” an exhibit featuring artwork, photographs, historical artifacts, quilts, and information centered around Women’s history. Windham, N.Y. - Windham Mountain is going to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest Torch Lit parade this Saturday, March 6, 2010.The time of the event will be at dusk, around 6 p.m.
