Mexico, N.Y. - The Village of Mexico would like to invite everyone to come celebrate the Christmas Season and see all that Christmas in Mexico has to offer. Friday Dec 3, will kick off the weekend festivities with a showing “The Muppet’s Christmas Carol,” admission is free.
Spend Saturday Dec 4 strolling the streets with “Friends of Bob Cratchit” and enjoy free horse drawn carriage rides, local business open houses and sales, numerous craft bazaars, a local art show and an indoor farmers market. Stay for the parade at 3:30, tree lighting ceremony, a visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus or stop in and enjoy a wine tasting from local vendors to round out Saturday’s activities.
Join us as we attempt to set the Oswego County Snow Angel Record (pending snow) at 1:00 pm on the front lawn of the Mexico High School which is located on Main Street in the center of town.
Sunday Dec 5, the Historical Society is hosting their Annual Christmas Concert at the First Presbyterian Church @ 3:30. There will also be a drive by Live Nativity which will begin @ 5 pm on 232 Academy Street.
