New Book Shares Stories of Lester Howe and Howe Caverns

The three-story, nine room interpretive center at Ray and West Main Streets on the Sackets Harbor waterfront will be open daily from 10 am to 5 pm from July 1 through September 7, 2009. The historic limestone structure built in 1817 as the Union Hotel now holds exhibits that inspire tourism along the 518-mile freshwater shoreline byway that is one of America’s Byways and a National Recreation Trail.
