Fair unveils 2012 poster and theme

Syracuse, N.Y. - A fun twist on a well-known expression, this theme describes the fast pace and non-stop nature of the Fair in terms of the most outward expression of joy: the smile. It lets Fairgoers know that every moment they’re at the Fair they’ll find something - whether it’s a show, ride, game or anything else - that will bring a smile to his or her face. Adirondack Museum Hosting Paddle Making Workshops

Craftsman Caleb Davis will return to the Adirondack Museum this summer to teach a series of one-day paddle making workshops.Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y. - Craftsman Caleb Davis will return to the Adirondack Museum this summer to teach a series of one-day paddle making workshops. Students will use hand-tools to craft their own wooden canoe paddle. The first workshop is offered on July 6, 2012.  Additional workshops will be held on July 13, 20, 27 and August 3, 24, 31. French & Indian War Event Saturday and Sunday at Fort Ontario

Bike Tioga is a family friendly event for people of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just looking to get some fun exercise for the weekend, we welcome you! There are 7 different rides to choose from throughout the weekend, ranging from 26 to 100 miles on Saturday and 25 to 60 miles on Sunday.
