Sizing each other up.Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY - Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 23 the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum begins DATA: Discovering Animals Together Activities, an 8-week adult/child program designed for 2-4 year olds along with a care provider at the Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard.

Adults and toddlers will explore, learn and have fun together in eight one-hour sessions led by a Museum Educator. DATA provides a structured introduction to live native animals through crafts, songs, movement, stories and hands-on exploration.

Children must be two by the first day of class and must be accompanied by an adult. This is a special time for parents and toddlers.  Parents are asked to kindly make other arrangements for siblings over 9 months.

DATA sessions will take place from Sept 22 to Nov. 10 on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am until 10:30am for 2 - 4 year olds and 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. for ages 3 and 4.  Classes are also scheduled from Sept. 23 to Nov. 11 on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. for ages 2 and 3 and 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. for ages 3 and 4. Price per adult/child pair: $140. Museum members: $115. Non-refundable pre-paid registration is required. Space is limited. 10% discount for additional siblings.
