Find Resources for 2700+ Miles of Snowmobiling Trails in NY and PA

More than 2700 miles and 200-plus inches of snow await snowmobilers in the Great Lakes Seaway Trail region of New York and Pennsylvania, according to the recently updated “Great Lakes Seaway Trail Snow-Cruising is Fresh!” Fact Sheet.

“This Great Lakes Seaway Trail resource list has been expanded to help snowmobilers in search of great riding, trails, maps, clubs, trail condition hotlines, lodging, food and state snowmobiling regulations,” says Seaway Trail, Inc. Scott Hamilton Returns Lake Placid with Holiday Concert on Ice

Lake Placid, N.Y. — Figure skating icon Scott Hamilton is back, ready to thrill audiences with a new skating show, Scott Hamilton’s Holiday Concert on Ice, coming to the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 7:30 p.m.

For more than 20 years, the Olympic Champion and four-time World and U.S. National Champion wowed audiences with his annual Stars on Ice tour, which kicked off annually in Lake Placid. Several of those performers are set to join the skating legend again including Ekaterina Gordeeva and Steven Cousins. The show will also feature Kimmie Meissner, Jozef Sabovcik and Caryn Kadavy, all skating to music performed by a live band and American Idols Phil Stacey and Melinda Doolittle. (more…)

Two-Week Program Returns with Same Great Prices

New York City - NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization, has announced dates for NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2010. The semiannual event will run from January 25-February 7, 2010, with the same prices charged since 2006. Costs will remain $24.07 for three-course prix-fixe lunches and $35 for three-course prix-fixe dinners (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2010 will run for two weeks this season, excluding Saturdays; restaurants have the option to offer the program on Sundays. (more…)

Albany, N.Y. — During the holiday season, there are magical shows to see, a wonderland of lights to tour, and a wealth of special events to savor.
