Route 6Route 6, also known as the Grand Army of the Republic Highway, is the second-longest highway in America. For 79 miles it winds its way through New York, passing through the southern tip of the state, and taking in the towns of Putnam, Westchester and Orange counties, among other scenic destinations along the way.
