New Activities Now Available
Season Pass Price Deadline June 22
North Creek, N.Y. - Gore Mountain is introducing many new activities and installing several new attractions for visitors this spring, with a Grand Opening slated for Saturday, July 7. Several amenities have become available during June weekends, including “The Rumor Climbing Wall,” the “Wild Air Bungee Trampoline,” disc golf, and daily hiking excursions. Other attractions coming soon include a huge inflatable obstacle course, base area and Bear Mountain interpretive walks, several educational opportunities featuring cooking classes, yoga retreats, photography camps, and jewelry workshops, and Friday evening happy hours. All of this is available in combination with the Northwoods Gondola Skyrides and downhill mountain biking that have been open in the past.
The new Open Pit Grille on the sundeck offers a full menu of southern barbeque specialties, traditional fare, and children’s selections. Year-round catering is available for corporate parties, weddings, and other special gatherings.
While adding significantly to its roster of activities, Gore will also offer a more extensive schedule. July 7 will kick off a daily operation through September 2 , transitioning from a Saturday-Sunday schedule in effect during the spring and fall. The gondola is open noon-3:30pm, and the other attractions and Open Pit Grille are open 11am-5pm.
Gore employees are hard at work on a busy construction schedule to improve the experience during the upcoming winter season. Projects underway include a complete renovation of the Tannery Pub & Restaurant, which will feature a 100+-seat deck, new kitchen, new restrooms, and reconfigured bar and seating. Renovations to the Retail Shop and Saddle Lodge are in progress, as well as major grooming investments and snowmaking system enhancements.
