Horse Racing Superstar Rachel Alexandra to Race in Saratoga on Saturday, September 5th

Saratoga Springs, NY – Eight lodging properties, fourteen restaurants and area attractions have teamed up to offer a Six Day Labor Day Weekend in Saratoga. The promotion features attractive room rates, select entrees for $20 or less and a fun-filled event schedule for visitors from Wednesday, September 2nd through Labor Day on September 7th. 

The weekend is highlighted by the confirmed entry of horse racing superstar Rachel Alexandra, as the filly tries to beat the guys once again in The Woodward at Saratoga Race Course on Saturday, September 5th. History could be made, as a filly has never won The Woodward in its 55 year history.
