Free screening of The Beatles’ YELLOW SUBMARINE 

Schenectady, N.Y. - The world of animation is a direct fire-wire into the imagination, where anything can happen. All week, Proctors Theatre will be serving a big screen buffet of all things fantastic, from dancing penguins to planet eating robots to mop-topped legends on an underwater musical expedition. There is something for everyone at this year’s fest, which truly covers the diverse landscape of animated cinema.

It all kicks off with a free screening of The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine in the Main stage on August 13th at 7pm. No ticket necessary, all you need is love (for cartoons).

And on Saturday, August 18th, the It Came from Schenectady crew  will host a family friendly celebration of all ‘toons 80s with Transformers: The Movie. There will be contests, films shorts, prizes, surprises and comfy couch and bean bag seating.

Adult tickets are $5. Tickets for 17 and under are just $3.
