I LOVE NEW YORK

Hyde Park’s Culinary Institute Of America

CIAHyde Park, located between New York City and Albany, is home to the Culinary Institute of America, one of the world’s premier culinary colleges and the only residential college in the world devoted entirely to the culinary arts. The school also has wide variety of programs for food enthusiasts.

At the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), you can work side-by-side with one of their chef-instructors in one and two-day hands-on cooking classes, or embark on an intensive CIA Boot Camp adventure. Tour the campus and sample the cooking of the world’s next culinary stars at one of the college’s five restaurants: American Bounty Restaurant, Apple Pie Bakery Café, Ristorante Caterina De’Medici, St. Andrew’s Café and Escoffier Restaurant. Also tour the grounds at the Roosevelt Estate where Franklin Delano Roosevelt, America’s 32nd President, was born, grew to manhood, and was laid to rest in the Rose Garden on the estate.
