Please join us for a sneak peak of Lookout Mountain, Whiteface’s third peak, from December 19-21! Not only will you get a behind-the-scene look of Lookout Mountain, but you can also experience Lake Placid at its best!

Lookout Mountain features three brand new trails – one 2.5-mile long intermediate cruiser and two expert runs that will get your juices flowing! Now just keep your fingers crossed and hope that Mother Nature continues to give us snow so you can see Lookout Mountain for yourself.

Our opening cocktail party will be at the Start 1 House of our combined bobsled/luge/skeleton run, host to this year’s FIL World Luge Championships and FIBT World Bobsled and Skeleton Championships in February. This is the first time ever that a site will host both championships in the same year, much less in the same month!

And while you’re in town, you can do some last minute holiday shopping.

8 AM Arrive at Mountain

8:15 AM – 11:30 AM Ski and visit Lookout Mountain (conditions permitting) with
Ted Blazer, ORDA President/CEO,
Bridget Hinman, Whiteface Marketing Manager, and
Jon Lundin, LPECVB Director of Communications

11:30AM Lunch at Whiteface

12 PM – 4 PM Ski on your own and/or return to Lake Placid

7 PM Dinner at TBD

Sunday, December 21

8 AM – 12 PM Ski on your own

9 AM – 12 PM Venue tours for those not skiing
